UMOGA comes from a Swahili word 'UMOJA'

Words have many different meanings in Swahili. UMOJA can mean harmony, togetherness, brotherhood, friendship, and community. All things that we strive for with our platform.

We have five main principles at UMOGA:

<

  • Ethical

Everyone is equal to us on UMOGA, so all users have access to the same features as everyon else. Everyone is treated the same, and no special preference given.

  • 10:10

We only ever take 10% of the sales made from the store, and every month we give back to the community by giving a random project on UMOGA 10% of our profit

  • Sustainable

We reinvest not only our profit, but our time to ensure that UMOGA stays at the best it can possibly, and that our users are rewarded for the effort they put in.

  • No costs

It has always and will always cost nothing to access the platform or use any of the services that we provide. We will never lock any of our features behind paywalls

  • No Ads

We don’t agree with spamming our users with advertisements in order to make some extra money on the side. No need to worry about AdBlock here, as there’ll never be ads
